How to Obtain Monero

Caution: while Monero is safe to trade and mine with reputable tools, some jurisidctions have made it illegal. Please check your local laws before proceeding.

Due to its private and decentralized nature, Monero is not typically available on commercial exchanges (Binance, etc.). Instead it is best to either directly trade with another person or mine it with your machine(s). A Haveno network is a good option for finding trading partners; Gupax is an easy to use GUI application for mining with P2Pool and XMRig.
